Q21
Areas that require the student teacher's corrective action.

Nhan is still continuing to work on his classroom management. He is trying to find ways to actively engage students during the lesson
to limit the off-task behavior. He is working to set behavior expectations and reinforce them during his lesson, establish routines and
procedures to minimize disruptions, and redirect students when necessary. Nhan is figuring out how to quiet students when they are
talking over him. His "shhhing" technique is proving ineffective, so he's been trying out some other strategies. He is quickly realizing
that when he sets expectations, he needs to hold students accountable for following his expectations, rather than continuing to give
multiple reminders. He is also figuring out how to manage multiple tasks at one time. For example, he was leading a small group of
students through a lesson, but had to manage the behaviors of the students in the class that were not in his small group.

Q22
Areas in which the student teacher has demonstrated excellence.

Nhan has demonstrated excellence in his ability to show up on time and prepared for his lessons. He actively works to continue
creating lessons that use a variety of strategies. His lessons allow for feedback and assessment of student work. He does a good job
reflecting on his lessons to make improvements in between classes and after the completion of a lesson overall. He manages to deal
with students calmly in a manner that allows students to feel respected.
