    UNIT OF TRANSLATION (UT)


    Unit of translation refers to the SL unit
    which can be recreated into TL without the
    addition of other meaning elements from
    the SL text.

    FREE TRANSLATION
    Free translation is to convey the message or
    content without paying much attention to
    the form of the source language text.

    VERBALS
    A verbal is a form of verb; infinitive, gerund
    or participle, but works as a noun, an
    adjective or adverb.
