Effects of Quarantine in the Daily Living of the Residents of Barangay Pag-Asa

Research Design

This study used an experimental method to easily identify the cause and effect of a

hypothesis. Researchers can further analyze this relationship to determine more in-depth ideas.

Experimental research makes an ideal starting point. The data you collect is a foundation on

which to build more ideas and conduct more research.

Procedures that specify the properties of the variables being researched are utilized in

experimental research. The purpose of this approach is to establish a connection between two

variables. In general, this relationship is one of causation. In experimental study, the data must

be numeric or quantifiable. It must be measurable, statistically similar, and able to be compared.

Researchers can use the experiment to determine the link between the independent and

dependent variables. Because it involves obtaining quantitative data and undertaking statistical

analysis for the study aim, Experimental Research Design is an example of a quantitative

research approach.

In an experiment, the independent is the controllable factor that marketing researchers

use to influence changes in the values of dependent variables. The independent variable could be

the price, product, place, or promotion, since market researchers can intentionally manipulate or

alter these factors and see the effects on sales, growth, revenue, etc. The factors that change
because of the alterations of the independent variables are called dependent variables. The

purpose of using experimental research to study the market is to maximize the results of

dependent variables (sales, revenue, consumer satisfaction) by finding the perfect combination of

independent variables. Thus, researchers aim to alter as many independent variables as possible

to find whether these strategies are effective in creating desired changes in the organization.

I chose experimental method because it boosts a researcher's ability to discover causal

linkages and express causal findings since it is reliable and precise empirical measurement and

control. I’d also want to learn the effects of quarantine in the daily living of the people.
