LIVING IN THE IT ERA

1. What Applied Productivity Tools are essential and beneficial to you as a student?

- Microsoft Office and zoom have been my go-to application productivity tools for the past few
years as a student because they are so crucial and helpful. As we all know, Microsoft office is the
program of choice for planning, communicating, or conducting analysis. For individuals who
work with documents and presentations, it is essential. especially with Microsoft Word, which
makes it possible to create both straightforward and sophisticated texts. Also, Microsoft Word is
a terrific tool since typing is faster than ever, errors can be readily fixed by just pressing the
backspace or delete key, there are templates for every sort of document, and mail merge from a
database makes it simple to send letters to many recipients at once. Moreover, zoom is one of the
platforms I use to keep learning, and it has been a huge help to me, especially during the
pandemic. It allows teachers and students to connect online synchronously using a personal
computer, laptop, or mobile device with or without using video. To conduct classes online,
instructors can set up Zoom sessions. They can also record the meetings so that students can
access them afterwards.

2. How much time and money are being save in lives using productivity tools?

- - Using productivity tools surely saves time and money largely because it is accessible and
fast through continuous enhancements and updates. So, for instance in research, employing
productivity tool will save you time and money from travelling to library and searching for
the article you need. With just a click, you may access anything that you need for the study.

3. How Applied Productivity Tools change the life of a student?

- Applied Productivity tools does change the life of a student specially during pandemic,
productivity tools, such as online planners or notetakers, can assist students in automating
regular (but required) tasks like note organizing and task deadline reminders. This is
especially true during pandemics. Students who use productivity tools not only complete
tasks more quickly, but they also relieve some of the pressure that comes with trying to keep
track of the daily assignments and homework required for each module.

4. How does it affect in your lifestyle and productivity as a student or working student?
- As a student, applied productivity tools does affect my lifestyle, particularly because with it, I
was able to survive the schooling during the hardships of pandemic. I am grateful that
productivity tools exist since without them, neither I nor probably any of us would be able to
pursue an online education. Applied productivity skills helped me become a more disciplined,
time-conscious, and all-around better person and student.
