IT / Senior AV Technical Support Specialist
As a Senior AV Technical Support Specialist, oversaw the daily operation, coordination, execution, and
support of the audiovisual systems and other conference center technology within a fast-paced customer
service-focused environment in office. I provided supervision, operational and technical support to the AV
Technical Support Specialists in that office by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee the staff’s efforts to setup, test, maintain, operate, and tear down all audiovisual (AV) and
videoconference (VTC) equipment, e.g., video data projection systems, computers, audio- and video
conference equipment, microphones, video cameras, audio systems, and control systems.
Provided technical and procedural guidance to team members.
Served as an escalation point for team members and vendors.
Handled difficult or exceptional customer interactions.
Train, mentor, and assist in the appraisal process for local AV Technical Support Specialists.
Served as the local primary point of contact for other offices for any AV issue, including coordination of
multi-office events.
Provided a monthly report containing local room usage data, open action items, equipment maintenance,
and upcoming preventative maintenance schedules.
Maintained the application used to create trouble tickets, customer issue resolution logs, and asset
