MY COMFORT PLACE

Experiencing Film in Theaters Watching movies is one of my favorite activities, it does not
matter if the movie is good or bad; I just want to watch them. I loved going to the theaters as a
kid because the entire experience was always so exciting, especially since it was the first thing
my mother let me do out on my own. Going to the movies was always a blessing, but as I grew,
I tried to go less often. While the experience is still the same, I just notice just how bad the
overall experience can be as well.
Honestly, the best part of watching a movie in theaters is the movie theatre experience; for
example, the seats, the popcorn, the large screen, the sound system, the people, and the new
releases. It is not just you in your room watching a movie, it is you reacting to the film and to
the people around you as well, all the while getting all these over-the-top elements as well.
Movie going takes a common experience and amplifies it, so it feels like you are getting
something even greater.
