Statement of the Problem

This study aimed to determine the “EFFECTS OF MISINFORMATION READS OR SEEN ON FACEBOOK TO
THE LEARNING OF FIRST YEAR IT STUDENTS OF BESTLINK COLLEGE OF THE PHILPPINES". Specifically, it
seeks answer to the following questions:

1. What are the demographic profiles of selected first year IT college students in terms of:

1.1 Age

1.2 Gender

2. How do the selected first year IT college students assess the effects of misinformation reads or seen
on Facebook to the learning of first year IT college students in terms of:

2.1 Behaviour

2.2 Media influencers; and

2.3 Personalize Learning

3. Is there significant difference between the assessments of the two groups of respondents in terms of
the cited variables above?

4. How does misinformation affect the selected grade first year IT college students to their learning
achievements?

5. What recommendations can be proposed to prevent the effects of misinformation in learning

achievements?
