ABSTRACT
Sitti Nuraeni (2023). Has conducted research with the title “Model Application
Problem Based Learning (PBL) one the Learning Outcomes of Class XI Ips Students at
Sman 8 Kendari (On the Main Material of Food Security, Industry and Energy)’’. Thesis
Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Halu
Oleo University.
This study aims to determine the effect of the effect of the Problem Based
Learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI Ips on Food Security, Industtry
and Energy. This research was counducted at Sman 8 Kendari in class XI. The method
used is an experiment with a pretest posttest control group design. This study used two
sample groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. The experimental
group in this study is a group of students who receive treatment/measures with the
Problem Based Learning model, while the control group is a group of students who use
conventional Learning model, while the control group is a group of students who use
conventional learning models. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and
inferential analysis. Based on data anaiysis, conclusions are obtained: 1). There is no
significant difference in the average pretest scores of student in the experimental class
and in the control class with t-test results showing that t count = 0,06 < 2.00 2). Average
valueposttest the experimental class is better that the posttest average value of the
control class with the t-test results showing that tcount= 2,31 > ttable = 2,00.

Berdasarkan tabel nilai rata-rata di atas Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar posttest
