Course Description and Goals

The goal of this class is to teach students to become visual problem solvers. In Grade 8, students
will be made aware of the creative process, which includes brainstorming, problem solving, and
analyzing and evaluating art. They will learn the basic art techniques, but most importantly they
will show their voices and experience through art.
We strengthen the construction of a Harmonic Community based on the human values of Respect,
Justice, Responsibility, Honesty, Tolerance, Reliability, Self-esteem, Integrity and Character. These
objectives will be reached through dialogues and reflection about all developed activities during
our classes describing a variety of changes in production, representation and growth of our
environment as a society. Finally, demonstration of all knowledge will be essential in the long
term.

Grading
Every quarter will be evaluated following the Bolivian law as follows:

Assessment through the quarters will be continuous through quizzes and practices every
week. This is the ATB program (All Time Best) program.
