Reflective of 2weeks of my Internship in Hidden Cove

Introduction:

This is my 2nd Week of the 12 Weeks of internship as a Junior Software Developer role in Hidden
Cove IT solutions in Melbourne. I am working as a Part time role in this organization for 4days per
week. 1st week is really interesting, because this is my first time in working in IT industry and work
with few senior staff in the organization.

Organization Culture:

We have very friendly staff .Every Monday and Wednesday is the staff meeting day, so everyone
need to talk about their work related challengers and successful achievements in previous week. So
in my first week I have to talk about myself about 2 minutes and I had explain my challengers and
how did I going to success those challengers in the Workplace .

Also we have very flexible hours to work and also during my lunch time break all the staff members
go out for walk in Fitzroy gardens to get fresh air and relax your mind in work. So we will talk about
hobbies, sports and current affairs.

My Projects and Roles of Responsibilities:

I got 3 Projects during my 12 weeks of internship, Project 1 is Internal Project for Jira Project
management codes transfer in to Xero Project, Project 2 is for Change current Organization website
migrate in to WordPress, 3 Project is for Provide Product evaluation and recommendation report to
Hidden Cove to buy new Kony Mobile Enterprise application platform to develop mobile application.

What did I learnt:

In my 1st and 2nd Week experience in Internship, I breakdown task in Internship and ACS assessments
deadlines in regarding priority of the importance of the organization point of view. I’ll arrange small
meeting with each project coordinators and supervisor to send to weekly progress in my work by
email and talk with them and get advice to find out whether I’m going on correct path. During 2
weeks of my Internship learnt, get advice from senior staff and ask more questions to clarify any
problems and solve it before move further steps.

Event attend:

In this week I attend official mobile application launching to Deakin University with my senior
developers also this one of the rear opportunity to myself because I studied Deakin University , so I
met my previous senior lectures form School of IT department and I build my network with them .

During 2weeks of internship is really interesting and existing time period for me personally, because
I learnt how the organization culture and their work types is suit and adopt the situation.
