OFFICE LOCATED AT BRGY. SAN FRANCISCO, IRIGA CITY, THIS 30TH DAY OF
MARCH, 2023 AT ABOUT 10:30 IN THE MORNING IN THE PRESENCE OF ATTY.
JOSE SISON HIS CHOSEN COUNSEL OR COUNSEL GIVEN BY THE
GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES, TO ASSIST HIM IN THE
GIVING OF STATEMENTS

Mr. / BERNARDO CARPIO hereby volunteer yourself to give sworn statement about
your personal knowledge about shooting incident that transpired on March 29, 2023 at
5:00 PM at Tirad Pass, Zone 5, Barangay San Isidro. Before you will give your sworn
statements, I would like to inform you of your rights enshrined under the 1987
Philippine Constitution, as follows:
1. That you have the right to remain silent and any information that you will give can
be used as evidence against you in any court of the Philippines;
2. That you have a right to have a counsel preferable of your own choice, if you
cannot afford the services of the counsel, the Government of the Philippines will
give you one to assist you;
3. That you have the right to know why you are here in our Office; and
4. That you have the right to be informed of all your Constitutional rights
enumerated above.
QUESTION: After you were informed of all your Constitutional rights, are you willing

ANSWER I am here to tell what I’ve witness in the incident and to help the
victim get the justice they deserve

05 QUESTION Where and when such incident occurred?

ANSWER It happened at Barangay San Isidro, Tirad Pass, Zone 5 on
March 29, 2023 around 5:00 PM

06 QUESTION Who were involve in the shooting?

ANSWER Arniel Real, Jurie Lancaon and Alo Ampongan

07 QUESTION How the shooting happened?

ANSWER I think there is a dispute over the right of way between the
victims and the suspect

08 QUESTION Do you know the victims?

ANSWER YES SIR, there are my neighbors Jurie Lancaon and Alo
Ampongan

09 QUESTION For the clear of the investigation, can you tell what actually
happened in the shooting?
ANSWER I am on my way home when I heard shouting and commotion in
the victims’ house and suddenly, I heard multiple gunshots
coming from that house. Then, I saw the suspect ARNIEL REAL
covered with blood in his shirt and quickly run away from the
victims’ house.

10 QUESTION As you know some of the shooters were armed with guns and
will you tell me what did he use?
ANSWER I saw ARNIEL REAL holding a 45 Caliber gun

ANSWER NO SIR, I think I am the only one who saw the incident

12 QUESTION What did you do after you witnessed the incident?

ANSWER After I’ve witnessed the incident, scared to get involve I ran away
and immediately hid. But my conscience kept me awake that
night, so I am here to testify what I have known about the
incident

ANSWER YES SIR

 SWORN STATEMENT OF COMPLAINANT

I, BERNARDO SABORDO CARPIO, have witnessed a shooting incident that

transpired in Tirad Pass, Zone 5, Barangay San Isidro on March 29, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
Arniel S. Real shoot two of his neighbours identified as Jurie R. Lancaon, 25 years old
and Alo M. Ampongan, 27 years old. The two parties have a dispute over a right of way
and the suspect want to revenge to those two victims. The suspect and the victim had
their heated argument causing the suspect to shoot the two victims using a 45 Caliber
gun.

I HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing statements are true and correct to
the best of my knowledge and witness hereof, I have here unto affixed my signature
