Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the senior high school students’ perspective

in choosing engineering as the course in college.

To answer the above cited problems, an answer to the following will be sought:

1. What are the factors affecting the students in choosing engineering as

a course?

1.2. Emotional?

2. Which among the following engineering courses is most likely favorable

to the students?

2.1. Civil Engineering;

2.2. Mechanical Engineering;

2.3. Marine Engineering;

2.4. Chemical Engineering?

3. Does grading scheme affects the participants in choosing a course?
