Module 2. Releasing the Power Within

S.Y. 2022 – 2023

The module 2 entitled Releasing the Power Within is a module which helps
learners to know the skills that they possess and their innate talents as individuals
whether at home, in school or anywhere in the society. Its objectives are 1. identify
the knowledge and skills needed in the different professions and life choices; 2.
assess the knowledge and skills needed in the preferred profession; and 3. value the
importance of knowledge and skills required in the profession.

In this module, a video presentation of the presentation which was

downloaded from YouTube, was played as an aid in discussing the content of this
module. As the video presentation plays, the teacher pauses some parts and discuss
thoroughly the information. Also, the teacher solicited/ asked the learners on who are
those students who possess some skills such as People Skills, Data Skills, Thing
Skills, Idea Skills and others.

During the presentation, students were able to discover the skills they
possess as individuals which are considered to be helpful to them as students and
as professionals in the future. After the discussion, learners answered the Activity
entitled “Like Me, Not Like Me.” In this activity, learners rated themselves honestly by
they checking the column that they believe speaks about them. This activity is
relevant because it allows learners to give direction to their own improvement as
individuals.
