2. Read the short background of the author
3. Unlocking of difficult words found in the poem
Let them find out the meaning of the underlined words using context clues
4. Reading of the poem

The ones who got the blue name tag will be in the blue team, pink name tag will
be in the pink team and those with orange name tag will be in the orange team

Assign each group the different activities
1. List the advantages of phones in our daily lives
2. Act out a scene showing the importance of telephone in an emergency situation
3. Create a quote or slogan about using phones in a valuable way and explain it.
Give them 3 minutes to prepare and 2 minutes for group’s presentation.
