BACKGROUND
More students are drawn to one of these popular cafés as
a result of a rising variety of variables, including trends,
peer pressure, desires, and many more. To save money so they
may afford to visit a café, students will forego other
purchases; some even skip meals. Regular cafe visits have a
negative impact on senior high school students' ability to
manage their finances. To gather information that will support
and guarantee the validity and reliability of our study, we
thus conducted a survey on December 5th until December 6th.

PURPOSE
The study proposed five objectives namely: to ascertain
the factors that prompt students to visit cafés, to determine
how they were able to handle their limited allowance, to
determine whether going to cafes has an impact when it comes
to their academic performance and productivity, to investigate
the importance of senior high school students' financial
management practices, and to understand what Gen Z expects to
cafes and how they manage their spending on famous cafes. It
attempts to provide information about well-known coffee shops
and how they affect senior high school students' ability to
manage their finances. Given that money is one of a student's
basic needs for survival, the study seeks to understand why
and how students visit cafes as well as how they manage their
finances.

METHODOLOGY
For this study's purpose of demonstrating how well-known
cafes affect students' ability to manage their budgets, a
quantitative research design was employed. A survey
questionnaire was used to gather quantitative data, and it was
distributed in person to the respondents. Fifty (50) students
were chosen accordingly as respondents using the Survey
Questionnaires. The survey questionnaires were distributed
inside the school premises to the students. They were based on
the following criteria: the respondents should be Senior High
School students, particularly in the strands of HUMSS and STEM
11 and 12, and lastly, ABM-11.

Prior to tabulating the data, we, the researchers, also

conducted a pre-survey that included questions about the
students' budgeting management, factors influencing their
budgeting management abilities, reasons why they visit cafes,
how frequently they do so, which cafes they frequent most, and
how they save money to do so. The profile of the respondents
was included in the survey form that was used to collect data,
along with variables and the following inquiries about the
study.

CONCLUSION
Basing from the tables presented above, the Financial
Budgeting of Senior High School Students at Saint William's
Academy in going to cafes is through saving half of their
allowances, where their weekly allowances range to 100-500
above where they were able to manage their allowances to go to
cafes to relieve stress, to spend quality time with friends to
study and do projects and because it's a trend and the
problems they mostly encounter in terms of budgeting is
because of unexpected expenses, lack of measurable goals, no
defined budgeting, and management, can't stop spending too
much and temptation of wants.

Overall, going to cafes has a detrimental impact on

students' ability to manage their money since they tend to
spend more there than on their personal needs and school
requirements. The students' ability to manage their finances
is also impacted because they spend too much time and money
going to cafes. The benefit is that it can assist students in
meeting their academic requirements and easing stress, among
other things. As students practice saving money to frequent
cafés, it can also help with their budgeting abilities.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Being able to handle your finances is a sign of maturity

and offers benefits. Early learning is preferable. We
recommend students to distinguish between wants and needs,
create a budget and stick to it, and ultimately, refrain from
making hasty purchases. We also recommend the institution to
start holding symposiums on how to improve budget management.
