Write a short summary explaining ;

1) How can effective communication boost workers' performance?

- Effective communication is essential for effective organisational performance.


Supervisors with strong communication skills can clearly communicate their ideas to
subordinates, ensuring that they understand what is expected of them and can positively
contribute to the organisation. Therefore, effective communication is able to boost the
employees performance by :

1. Improving the employee’s morale through a supporting and encouraging working


environment that inspires stress-relief and effective decision making. Employee
performance improves when the work environment is improved because workers feel
more free to express themselves and be more productive. Furthermore, they feel more
important because they are kept up to date on corporate developments, organisational
policies, and corporate goals, as well as how all of these changes may impact them and
their future in the organisation.

2. Building strong relationships by positive and constructive communication that is centred


on meeting individual needs, conveying essential information, and providing feedback.
Also, it creates a mutual trust between their superiors and them to voice out their
opinions, suggestions and comments in relation to their work progression, problems etc.

3. Strong Teamwork and Achieving Goals that lead to strong teamwork and the ability for
employees at all levels of the business to work together to accomplish company goals.
Furthermore, effective organisational communication provides workers with the
knowledge, structure, and positive work atmosphere they require to feel secure handling
conflict and successfully resolving issues.

2) Research 1 company in each sector which serves PR, Marketing & Advertising.

- Nike is an american sportswear company and it is worldwide. Nike produces a wide


range of sports equipment and apparel. They use PR, Marketing and Advertising for
their company and brand. For Nike, the PR team will tell stories that have always
been a speciality to the audience about the brand. The PR team has helped Nike to
broad their target audience from young fit sporty people to kids, hip-hop fans and
trainers collectors. They have also released a Nike Pro Hijab for muslim women.

- They use influencers that are in the background of sports well to market and
advertise their brands. Their marketing strategy is to know their customers' liking and
keep up with the current trends and embrace new technologies into their sportswear.
Also, they use social media platforms to market their brand and their activities
through it. Nike also uses the traditional media channels such as televisions &
magazines to promote their brand.
- Nike advertise their brand the products through billboards, promotions and in places
through events to have more potential leads and create potential customers for their
brand.
