Reflection Paper:

When our teacher deployed us in the hotel, I didn’t get

scared nor excited. Me and the boys were working at the
basement because it was our assigned position at first. We
pretty much had a hard time because it was hot in there. It
was as if we were literally working in hell. That was my
best interpretation. For a few weeks, I was able to see how
much of an impact this experience had on me. Working is
really hard. You will definitely encounter mistakes
sometimes but we can’t really prevent them all the time. It
is important that you learn from your mistakes and try
again if necessary. Well, my life did change. I got to learn
how to clean a bathroom properly, fix bedsheets/pillow
cases, cleaning the basement like mopping the parking lot
and sorting garbage. Basically, I became a Garbage boy. It
was not easy at first, but after a while I learned how to do it
better. My favorite part while I’m assigned in housekeeping
with room assignment is that I’m fixing bedsheets and
pillowcases. The staffs that I worked with is really nice and
did teach me the ways. To be honest. I suffered a lot. Some
of them well they felt that too. But we have no choice but to
get the job done. But I’m really thankful for all the help I
received from the staffs. All the pain that I felt, blood and
sweat are well deserved. All those pains showed me, taught
me everything that I needed to learn.
