WORK IMMERSION JOURNAL

(CLEAN THE BATHROOM)

Second day of work immersion was tiring because we are assigned to

clean in the bathroom. First we prepaid the things to be used in cleaning
the bathroom, we wear gloves and mask first for safety purposes and avoid
contamination. Secondly, we brush the wall of the bathroom from top to
bottom. Third, is we scrub and brush the tiles to remove the dirt from it.
Forth, we washed the cleaned tiles to removed bubbles and slippery tiles.
Lastly, we scrub the bowl in and out.
After doing cleaning the bathroom, we prepaid the bucket,
dipper and keep the things are used away from the clean one.

WORK IMMERSION JOURNAL

(BUTLER )

On our last day of work immersion, we performed as a butler but

wearing a formal attire and must be memorized the manuscript to be
performed given by ma’am Ran, she said instead of performing at the
school, we will make a video presentation performing how to act as a real
butler in the hotel, how to communicate with the guest and how to give a
butler direction after all the inquiries of the visitor or guest of the hotel.
The memorization went wrong, until me and my classmate realized that we
cannot remembered the next thing to be said, it was nice catching ourselves
happy in laughter. But at the end of the day, a job and part of me must be
done. I memorized the manuscript little by little by doing practice and
memorization.
At the first take of performing the manuscript I was scared and
nervous because of the word ‘what if”. What if I can’t perform it? What if I
made a mistake? What if I can’t have done it well? After so much try to
make the things well done, I overcome it. The lesson I have got is, if you
repeated the things that you are weak on, practice will make it perfect.

(BED MAKING)

bed making is the act of arranging the bed sheet and other bedding
on a bed prepare it for use. It is a household chore but is also performed in
establishments including hospital, hotels and military or educational
residence. Bed making is also a common childhood chore
first day of immersion when we go at the school ma’am Florine
Enrique oriented to use of what we can do about the bed making she tech
the step by step and the procedure of the bed making. We start the bed
make. First put in the bed the first sheet and the wrong side I was struggle
to put the wrong side but I achieve the perfect output. Then after that I put
the second sheet. The blanket and the third sheet after the third sheet I was
struggle to miter because the bed we make us its. So very lightest then I put
the pillow sheet in the pillow and the last is the cover
I really enjoyed the day that experience work immersion and I am
glad to learn more.
