Name of the activity:


Addition of positive and negative whole numbers
Description:
It is a classic Bingo Game with a math twists. Student will be given an addition
integer problem. Once they solve the problem, they will check their card. This resource
allows students to practice adding both positive and negative whole numbers.

Materials: Printed Bingo card (bond paper), pen or pencil, bottle with Printed problem solving

General Direction:
This adaption of the Bingo Game provides practice adding the positive and
negative whole number/integer. The class will be divided into 6 groups or more. Caller
place all the call out problems in the bottle and mix them up. The caller select random
problem from the bottle. Let the player’s mark the square with the pen or pencil if they
solve the problem and the answer appears on their cards. The player will shout
“BINGO!” when they get a full line (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) or a full card. Then
the facilitator will check the answers if it is correct.

Mechanics of the game:


 Player must solve the math problem and mark a space on their card
corresponding to the answer.
 Once a player completes a row or column and claims bingo, the caller will check
the math to make sure their answers are correct.
 If so, they are declared the winner.
