Subject: Current production NR / ND model lift trucks now ship

standard with an updated VMC30. Replacement parts for the
previous Color Display 2 & 3 series lift trucks will include the
updated VMC30.

Updated VMC30 for Color Display Trucks
The current production ETR series (S/N 82823445 and up) lift trucks
now deliver with an updated VMC30, P/N 5163286. This VMC30 will
also be the replacement unit for all previous color display lift trucks.

This HPK explains the differences between the updated VMC30 color
display and the previous part, and software required for each

Updated VMC30 for Color Display Trucks

The previous production VCM30 was

P/N 51408756. This VMC30 was used
for the all the color display 2 series
units manufactured from inception to
November 21, 2017, and all 3 series
units from serial number 82823446 up
to November 21, 2017.

The current production

VCM30 is P/N 51643286.
This part was put into
service on November 21,
2017 beginning with
serial number 82823445.
Updated VMC30 for Color Display Trucks

The previous VCM30 (P/N 51408756)

included a USB port under the rubber
cover, and requires different software
than the updated VMC30
(P/N 51643286) production version.

The current VCM30 (P/N

51643286) no longer has a USB
port. The port was discontinued. As
a result of this change, the current
VMC30 (P/N 51643286) requires
updated software.
Updated VMC30 for Color Display Trucks
• Currently, VMC30 (P/N 51643286) is on soft-freeze ordering status.
To order a replacement part, the following information is required:
➢ The codes stored in the error log.
➢ The troubleshooting history to determine if replacement is necessary.
➢ The part number on the unit label.

• The software needed for the current production VCM30 (P/N 51643286) can only be
installed by MCFA, in Houston, Texas. After installation of software, the unit will be
shipped to the customer.

• The previous VCM30 P/N 51408756 is also on soft-freeze ordering status.

When ordering a replacement, please provide the lift truck’s serial number and the
color of the display.

• Note: The previous production part VCM30 (P/N 51408756) will no longer be
available for any color display lift trucks. The VCM30 (P/N 51408756) will only be
available for orange display lift trucks.
