NOTICE INVITING QUOTATION

Name of Work:- Electronics and Electrical Repairing works in XBIS 145-180 at Cargo
complex, Chennai Airport Chennai.

Sealed Item Rate Quotations are invited for an estimated cost of Rs. 1,83,000.00 + Service Tax from
the firms who have carried out Electric / Electronic / Mechanical works are eligible for participating
in the above mentioned work. Your offer should reach the office of the Sr. Manager (Electronics),
Electronics Maintenance Division, 2nd floor , Operational Building, Airports Authority of India,
Chennai Airport, Chennai 600 027 in the format given below latest by 1500 hrs. on 11-11-2014 as
per below mentioned terms and condition. Schedule of Quantity attached at annexure “A”

The quotations shall be opened in the office of the Sr. Manager (Electronics) on the same day i.e. on
11-11-2014 at 1530 hrs.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

1. The agency shall visit the site to assess the repairs to be carried out on XBIS installed at
cargo complex before submitting their offer.

2. The offer without the site/system inspection at cargo complex for assessing the repairs will
not be considered. XBIS No.1,2,3,6,8 & 9 needs to repaired. (any changes will be intimated
at the time of inspection.)

3. Agencies shall visit the site up to 07-11-2014 between 1000 Hrs. to 17:00 Hrs on any
working days with prior intimation to the following officer.

4. The offer should be inclusive of all associated Spare components, labour and T&P etc. No
additional payment shall be made on account of any repair/replacement other then quoted
Total Amount.

Scope of work given below:

a. The XBIS is of smith make and in semi operational condition.

b. Emergency stop function is not in operation and need to be made operational.

c. Connector and cords to be replaced as require.

d. XBIS conveyor should be aligning with generator. Any repair in Conveyor is not
included.

e. Parameters and output to be calibrated with CTP after repairs.

f. Other all works to be carried out as mentioned in scheduled of quantity.

g. XBIS to be handed over to AAI.

5. After repair the system will be checked by engineer in charge, Electronics division, AAI for
serviceability.

6. The system is partially serviceable. The firm should carry out the work as per scheduled of
quantity. The offer shall include all repairing charges to make the system serviceable.

7. Payment : 100% payment shall be made after completion of system repair, testing,
observation period & acceptance by AAI. System will be kept on observation for 15 days.
During observation period, complaints if any to be attended and rectified by the agency to
the satisfaction of AAI. The payment will be released after the observation period.

8. Time allowed for work : Three weeks from the date of award of work.
