Pauline has gotten her employment, which will allow her to get to know their company so that she

can grow to the highest level. One year has gone by, yet Pauline has received more comments that
she truly deserves to be the manager of the large corporation because of her potential and excellent
performance in the company. Pauline has good leadership, commitment and passion to work and this
is what every company needs to succeed.

2 years later, Pauline got promoted as a Senior Manager of the company and everyone thinks that
Pauline deserves that position. Pauline requested that she will be needing an assistant manager to
organize the work because there are a lot of things and work to do. The company started to find an
assistant manager that would fit for her and started to hire applicants.

On the other hand, Zahanna just got fired because of unacceptable behavior and failed metrics
performance. Zahanna tries to find a new job and fortunately, she found out that JBD corp. was hiring
a new assistant manager and she tried to apply for it.

Jules(Employee): I’m sorry, but the interview for the assistant manager job is going to end here because
it’s already late and our manager is going to have a meeting. You can all return tomorrow.

Zahanna: *looks iritated* Hey there, may I ask where the room is for the interviewers? I waited almost a
year here, and you’re going to tell me that it’s cut off and that I should return tomorrow?!

Jules(Employee): I’m sorry ma’am, but according to our manager, we really need to cut the line now
because she is so busy.

Zahanna: No, I can’t accept that useless reason of yours. Tell me where the interviewer’s room is or I will
spill this coffee on your ugly shirt! *lifts up the coffee she’s holding*

Jules has no choice but to lead Zahanna to the interview room. However, Chienny- one of the
interviewers showed up and questioned them.

Chienny(One of the Interviewer): Excuse me, ma’am, but you don’t have the right to just enter the room
without knocking on the door. And as far as I know, there’s a line, right?

Zahanna: I don’t care! I need the job now. I waited here since 7 am this morning, and you’re going to tell
us that we need to cut off the line and return tomorrow?! What kind of mind do you have?

Pauline begins to enter the room, and she is calm when Zahanna saw her while the latter is in shock.

Pauline: Zahanna, it’s been a long time.

Zahanna: Oh, this ugly girl? Tell me, is she the one who is next to me? Oh come on, miss interviewer, I
am going to tell you that I am more intelligent than this person. This person is numb and useless.

*jules and chienny looked at each other*

Chienny(One of the Interviewer): Good evening Ma’am I’m really sorry, but this applicant is forcing
herself here to be interviewed because she has been waiting for almost an hour. I’m really sorry for the
inconvenience, ma’am Pauline.

Zahanna: Wait, why are you calling her ma’am? Pauline, don’t tell me you are the manager here.

Pauline: Well, you want to be interviewed, right? Okay, then Come and sit here.

Zahanna: *silence* *turning looks to the interviewers and then approached Pauline*

Pauline: Introduce me yourself.

Zahanna: I am Zahanna. I think I don’t need to introduce myself because you got my resume there. All of
my information is there and I am sure that you will need me because I am intelligent.

Pauline: Aha, yes, upon seeing your information here in your resume, I can see that you are an honor
student from elementary till college, but all of the companies that you are applying to are firing you due
to bad behavior and metrics failing. Is that right?

Zahanna: Oh, common, but it doesn’t matter.

Pauline: It matters because our company doesn’t want a toxic environment, and in order for us to have a
successful environment, we don’t want to hire an applicant like you.

Zahanna: Fine! *Walks out*

Zahanna was rejected from the company because of her bad record with her previous companies and
for showing a rude attitude to the manager of JBD Corp.
In the end, they saw Pauline’s duality. Showing her weak and lowkey side turning that she has
greatness through herself and become one of the big people in a company.
