1. Title: The effects of multimedia on English vocabulary
acquisition

Statement of the Problem

The purpose of this study is to determine whether, when


compared to the traditional method of language instruction,
the use of multimedia (such as videos, radio recordings,
interactive software, etc.) can improve junior high school
students at Namabbalan Integrated School's learning and
retention of English vocabulary.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problem:

1. What kinds of multimedia tools are most useful for learning


English vocabulary? Are some forms of multimedia resources
more effective than others?

2. How significant is context when using multimedia resources


to learn English vocabulary? What tactics can be employed to
give learners with sufficient context when learning new
vocabulary?

3. How might multimedia materials be combined with other


teaching methods, such textbooks, lectures, or interactive
activities, to encourage the learning of English vocabulary?

2. Title: The role of literature in second language acquisition.

Statement of the Problem

This study intends to look into the possible advantages of


employing literary texts as a language learning aid for
Namabbalan Integrated School Junior High School pupils.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problem:


1. What are the factors that influence second language
acquisition? How do individual learner characteristics,
such as age, motivation, and prior knowledge affect the
process of acquiring a second language?

2. What is the role of input and output in second language?


How does practice and production contribute to the
development of second language skills?

3. What is the difference between first language and second


language acquisition? How do learners transfer knowledge
and skills from their first language and their second
language?

3. Title: The influence of culture on English language teaching


and learning

Statement of the Problem

This project aims to establish educational approaches that are


attentive to learners' different cultural backgrounds and
requirements as well as ways to foster successful
communication and cultural awareness in the English language
classroom.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following sub-problem:

1. What part does intercultural competency play in the teaching


and learning of English? How can educators help students get
the knowledge and abilities necessary to negotiate cultural
differences and communicate successfully across a range of
contexts?

2. How does culture affect the motivation and attitude of


English language learners? How can cultural differences be
taken into account in the classroom and promote engagement
and learning?

3. How can English language teaching materials and resources be


adapted to reflect the cultural diversity of learners and
promote cultural awareness and sensitivity?
