Instructions to use activate GSuite and use Google Classroom or accsess the IST’s

Google Drive with your Técnico’s account

The SDP/STP/RPPP (CDP/CTP/RPPP) students ought to activate their GSuite account from
Google (with all associated benefits) using the procedure described below. This activation will
allow access to the Google Classroom platform with the IST-ID credentials (and also to the IST's
Google Drive, where files used in the UC will be stored). This will also allow students to access
the continuous evaluation quizzes (MAPs).

1. Please access the self-service webpage of DSI at https://selfservice.dsi.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/

2. Activate the GSuite. See the last line on the table that should contain a button, for those
that still did not activated it.

Then you should be able to access a Google account using your IST email address.

3. Logout from all Google accounts, if you are logged in. Click on the top right corner to see
your accounts and click on the button to logout from all accounts:
4. Enter your e-mail address from IST (#######@tecnico.ulisboa.pt) on the Google account
login page https://accounts.google.com. Use the option to add another account if you
have other accounts stored in your web browser.

5. Enter your login credentials on the Técnico ID system (IST-ID).

6. To access the Google Classroom, select that product from the grid at the top right corner
of the window.

7. Chose the SDP (CDP) classroom from the available classrooms.
