Standard 7 Artifacts

My first artifact is my Philosophy of Music Education. I created this to articulate my thoughts

and beliefs on the importance and purpose of music education. Through this, you will see that
my statements are focused on diverse and student-centered learning. This artifact reflects my
ability to empower students and meet their needs and showcases my professionalism.

My second artifact is my Secretary Minutes. I wrote minutes for all Collegiate National
Association for Music Education (cNAfME) chapter meetings. Through this, you will see my
professionalism, organizational skills, and attention to detail. This artifact demonstrates my
ability to participate in leadership roles and maintain professionalism.

My third artifact is a picture of my participation in the Manhattan Municipal Band. The

Municipal Band is a summer community band that performs once a week in the city park during
the summer months. Through this picture, you will see the community building and collaboration
I am taking part in. This artifact demonstrates my ability to make a musical impact in the
community and collaborate with others to reach a common goal.
