CLASSIFICATION TEXT TYPE- is one text type in which information and ideas are grouped together
according to similarities or are sorted / divided into different categories according to
shared characteristics. It takes an overall main idea and split it into parts in order to
provide clarity of description. It uses a group of sentences used to deliver and enhance
the main idea and then explains about different categories that
is under one general topic.

that follow.
The Earth we live in right now is not what the Earth looks like many, many years
ago. The Earth’s surface is constantly changing through slow processes that we do not
usually see. One of this process is erosion. This has worn away rocks and mountains over
millions of years, caused by air, water, and wind. Another change is caused by
earthquakes that originate deep inside the planet. More sudden and violent than erosion,
an earthquake results when strains between Earth’s plates produce shock waves. The
third process is volcanic eruption. Molten rock-forming material called lava, escapes onto
the surface through gaps in the crust, dries up and become part of the Earth’s surface.
TIME ORDER TEXT TYPE- In a time-order or chronological text type, the author presents
or organizes ideas by talking about the events in the order they occurred. The
major supporting details are sequenced or arranged in order according to when they
happened or should happen.
Signal Words: after, afterwards, ago already, always, at last, at that time, at the same
time,
before, during, eventually, finally, first, first of all, following, further,
immediately, initially, in the first place, in the meantime, in that moment, in
that instant, last, lastly, later, now, not long after, next, once, presently,

names of days, months or years, times of day, etc.
