    What your child can work on at home:

    Math: At Dinner Time-…engage your child in conversations about more or less: “Do I have more
    or less mashed potatoes than you have?” …play “how many” games: “How many forks are on the
    table? How many carrots are on your plate?” …have your child count food items as they are
    served.

    Highlight Letters: grab your favorite magazine and a highlighter. Ask your child to highlight
    as many of one letter as they can find...highlight all the letter Kk’s you can find, next
    highlight all the letter Rr’s you can find, etc.
