Music and Sound Effects

The song I am going to use for my College Radio enrichment script is “Around The World”
by Daft Punk. I have chosen this song because it is a song that I think feels fitting for radio it
is well known by a lot of people, it will also appeal to the target audience as a lot of people in
their 16-19s listened to this song and it just brings happiness to a lot of people when they
listen to it.This song is catchy and very upbeat and may get people to come along to the
radio enrichment. This also shows that you can have a variety of songs on the radio as long
as it appeals to the target audience.

The sound effect I have used for my radio enrichment advertisement is a record scratch, I
feel like this is fitting as it links to the enrichment and also fits in with the script as a hold up
kind of sound.

The song I am using for my video production enrichment is Memories by Maroon 5. I have
chosen this song as it is well known by many people especially in the target audience
bracket 16-19 year olds. When listening to this song it may make you have a slight joy of
happiness. The song also links to the video production as when to make videos/movies you
make memories.

The sound effect I am going to use is a sci-fi gun shot sound, I have chosen this because I
feel it’s fitting with the type of enrichment it is.
