Principles of design

1.) EMPHASIS

This photo was taken from my fieldtrip


last school year. It is a type of Emphasis in the
Principles of Design because, the camera is
focused on the yellow flower in the middle,
while the rest of the background is blurred.

2.) BALANCE AND ALIGNMENT

This photo was taken from the tunnel of


lights, two years ago at Resorts World Manila. It
is a type of Balance in the Principles of Design
because, the lights are balanced with one
another. The lights on the left side is the same
with the ones on the right.

3.) CONTRAST

This photo is a family picture from


summer of two years ago at Subic bay. It is a
type of Contrast in the Principles of Design
because, it shows the color differences of our
clothing worn at this picture.
4.) REPETITION

This photo was taken from the top of the


hotel three years ago. It is a type of Repetition in
the Principles of Design because, it shows the
repetition of the shapes and sizes of several
buildings on the background.

5.) PROPORTION

This photo was taken from NAIA


terminal 3, Runway area few months ago. It is a
type of Proportion in the Principles of Design
because, it shows proportionality within the
shapes and sizes of the sky ways, metal beams,
and posts.

6.) MOVEMENT

This photo was taken from McKinely


Hills at Taguig City three years ago. It is a type
of Movement in the Principles of Design
because, it shows the flow and movement of the
river.
