Q3The first thing I notice when I see this painting is the use of warm colors.

With the use of these warm

colors u get a calm and happy feeling looking at it. The artist uses a value of shading to make it look
more realistic. For example, the reflection on the girl’s hair showing where the light source is coming
from. Also, the artist uses light to make the texture for the people’s clothes. It seems that the painting
does not really have a concept. It is meant to be a slice of life style of painting to just make you happy.

Q masks One of the the first things I see is the contrast on their masks. With this heavy contrast of light
and dark u can make the wrinkles on their masks. I also noticed that the two people are kissing. But if
you look closer the artist used implied lines to show that by having light and dark right next to each
other. The artist also decided to use two primary colors for the background of this painting. For the
concept I don't think this peace really has a clear message that it conveys. But what I got out of it was
that these people love each other but cannot be seen together so they are forced to wear masks in
order to express there love.
