This is a report on my summer internship as well as the experience I got from my internship regarding
my field under the guidance of my university. Also it is to fulfilling the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and
Mass Communication( B.A.JMC) program.

It is a brief of my practical experience and professional orientation during my internship period.

I would like to thanks IES University and Prof. Nidhi Singh , my internship advisor for being a guideline. I
would also like to thank Just Baat (the online platform ) and YouTube Channel News 100 for the
internship opportunity.

I would also like to give a special thanks to all my colleagues for being friendly to me for my whole
internship period and my seniors for helping and guiding me during this time. They make me feel free
and workable with the professional world.

Organization Profile:

Justbaat –Dil ki Baat is India’s NO. 1 Social audio micro-podcasting network. It is made in India and is the
best way to talk to people and socialise easily. Here one can freely share their views in any language and
to anyone. This app also give you opportunity to voice out and become a creator as well as radio jockey.

JustBaaat serves its clients most possible and free environment and helps them to give stress free time
in their busy and heavy work life.

Expectations:

Before joining JustBaat and News 100 I was bit confused about where to intern and mainly in which
department . But as I like interacting new people and write some creative blogs and poems so i thought i
must intern as a news writer in News 100 and as a host or one can say Radio jockey in JustBaat. Joining
there , I find myself surrounded with people professionally creative and friendly to work and learn from.

I have a great interest not just becoming a good anchor or photographer but to become a creative
person in the media line. With this internship I have learnt many things about media but as this was the
time I wanted to apply them practically.

In a brief, I expected from this internship were to :

 Mentally to work for other
 Professional skills
 Reputations

Objectives:

Working with an organization for thirteen weeks must get me some fulfilled objectives. On the
completion of this internship I will be able to:

 Work more hours

 Handle latest digital SLR and DSLRs cameras
 Write good scripts
 Edit videos and pictures
 Work on digital media
 Stay connected with my like- minded people

The Workplace Log (New 100)

First week( August 9 – August 15, 2021)

 Had to talk about my work here in News 100

 Given interview
 Meet with everyone here
 Organized my place(desk)
 Introduction to new software’s like adobe Photoshop and etc.

Second week (August 16 – August 23, 2021)

 Converted raw material into news

  Went to anchoring studio and done anchoring
 Learned how to right Breaking news

Third week ( August 24 – August 30,2021)

 Went on field reporting

 Organized my done work and mail the list to my incharge
 Finally got my Internship certificate and my stipend of Rs. 3000.

The Workplace Log ( JustBaat )

Started from August 18, 2021 and ended on October 18, 2021

JustBaat was a online platform with the tag line ‘’WE LISTEN , WE DON’T JUDGE”. I worked here as a
Moderator intern which was very helpful in my field. On my first day I was super nervous that how will I
manage and host a show but when I started my creating my rooms on the app and people started
connecting and started conversation then I started gaining my confidence back and i was easily able to
host my shows. On my second day I thought to keep a chilled aura in my session so I decided to choose
a topic’ Kise aur Kahaniya ‘ where people can share their views and incidents or unforgettable
memories feely in their own words and which I think is a good remedy to get stress free as during
Pandamic lots people were suffering from depression as their were no one to listen them or can here
their problems. But JustBaat was a platform where People can connect to many people and can interact
with people in different city’s and countries and can share their views with each other . This internship
also helped me enhancing my communication skill as this will surely help me future in my career in
media industry. I’m glad to have this opportunity.
