Explain the following questions below about the competencies of entrepreneurs.

1. What characteristics can you observe or see that are common among the entrepreneurs that you
have listed.

- The common characteristics I observed among the entrepreneurs I listed are that they are all
passionate and goal-oriented. These women possess all of the traits that have led to their
success. Not only the brand, but also the company and its employees. They are all ambitious
and confident in themselves. Furthermore, the fact that they are all successful means that they
all worked hard and gave their all to get to where they are now.

2. Who among the entrepreneurs that you mentioned do you admire the most and why?

- Nina Cabrera. She is the CEO of Colourette, which she created in 2015 with the goal of
creating makeup for Filipinos by Filipinos. What I admire about her is that, despite not
finishing her studies, she stood on her own and established her own cosmetics business. And
the best part is that all of her employees are Filipinos. Isn't it wonderful that Filipinos are
producing goods for their fellow citizens? That is why I admire Ms. Nina Cabrera.

3. In your own opinion, what do you need to possess to become a successful entrepreneur

- There are certain qualities that I believe I must possess in order to be a successful
entrepreneur. One of them is that I should enjoy what I do. Because if I don't, the outcome of
my efforts will be insufficient and will not satisfy me. Another one is that I should have
perseverance, which means that I should pursue tasks regardless of the obstacles. The third is
that I should be an excellent planner. In that case, I won't have to make decisions
impulsively if I plan ahead of time. Last but not least, being a risk-taker. I understand that
everything begins with a risk, and that is something I should have in order to be a successful
entrepreneur. Because high risk comes with high reward.
