1. Hollis Caswell – According to him, Curriculum is the collection of real


life experiences of the students that have under the guidance of the
Teachers. It is unlimited to give content.
2. John Dewey – He said that Curriculum is evolving by experiences and
learning of the students.
3. Robert Gagne – He said that Curriculum is a sequence of content.
Meaning, it has arranged process.
4. Ralph Tyler – According to him, All the experiences of the students are
planned and directed by the school to achieve its goal.
5. James Popham – According to him, all the learning experiences are
responsibility of school.

2. How do philosophy, psychology, history and society influence the development of


curriculum?

1. Philosophy - It shows how a curriculum should be arranged in order to


maximize students' learning, as well as how much knowledge they can acquire
when studying the various curriculum components.
2. Psychology – In Psychology, there is a need to comprehend every student, as
well as the needs of every instructor, all for the sake of what is at stake.
3. History - History demonstrates how curriculum evolves in response to the
moment in which it is implemented, how its purpose, principles, and content
change through time.
4. Society - The values of a culture define the standard of behavior in that
community, and hence impact how effective a curriculum will be.

3. Explain how the three processes of planning, implementing and evaluating are used in
curriculum development?

These three processes help curriculum to develop. First, the planning, it must be
plan by the school or teachers. They will recognize how this curriculum will

implement to the students under the guidance of the teachers. Lastly, It will
evaluate the curriculum if it is effective or not. If it needs to change, they will
change it.
