Mock Scenario

In this mock, the teacher is interacting with Mrs. Gupta. Mrs.Gupta lives in a small town in Uttar
Pradesh.Mrs. Gupta’s son is in 2nd standard. He is studying in a local English Medium School.
Mrs. Gupta is a housewife, who is very concerned about Shikhar’s studies.
She hasn't studied much but ensures that Shikhar studies daily. She isn't fluent in English but
wants Shikhar to grow up and become a very confident individual, who speaks fluently.

Shikhar is in 2nd grade. He is a bright student in school. He loves watching volleyball and
playing kho-kho. He is very interactive and loves meeting new people. As he is growing up, he is
realising the importance of good communication skills. He is a confident student but lacks
fluency & pronunciation. He also loves participating in extracurricular activities.

Mrs. Gupta is tensed and is looking for a solution.

She wants to develop Shikhar into a very confident public speaker, who participates in
extracurricular activities. COVID -19 has played a spoilsport since Shikhar doesn't have a
platform to participate in competitions.

Mr. Gupta, who is aware of the problem, saw a PlanetSpark advertisement for “Becoming a
Confident Public Speaker” on Google and booked a slot for 4-5PM tomorrow.

Call Mrs. Gupta and confirm the trial class with her!

Keep in mind:

- Introducing yourself and building a rapport with the parent
