Topic - Transport and its importance.

a) What factors influence how people choose to send goods to
other parts of the world?
a) The three factors would be the price, the time taken and the
amount of goods, and how valuable they are. The people who are
sending light weight valuable product in a short period of time and
don't really mind paying a lot would choose air transport, while the
people who are sending heavy freight and want it to be cheap and
do not really care if it takes some days for it to be delivered will
choose water transport.
b) Why are some goods sent by air when it is more expensive than
sending them by sea?
b) It is because some people have small valuables that they want to
send and they want to send it fast so they choose this option.
c) Write down the advantages and disadvantages in sending goods
to other parts of the world by ship and air.
c) Sending by air would be faster and it would be more suitable for
transporting small valuables as there would not be anything there
that could damage it but its more expensive while sending by ship
might be cost efficient and you could send lots of heavy freight
together but this would take a long time to transport your
products/goods.
