Colonies in christurajpuram, vijayawada are facing a great

challenges by the increase in urbanization. one of the major


challenge due to this is the quantity of waste generated on
daily basis got rise in its own way. this leads to large amount
of garbage in public places which has consequently led to
various adverse effects on the environment. the waste bins
that are kept to road side ways in this area are getting filled
up faster & inevitably many of the bins end up overflowing
before being collected.

this is making the christurajpuram colonies to littered areas &


making them look like area with messy surroundings. the foul
odours that comes from these waste bins affecting
everybody in the area especially the school yards where the

this area are facing the adverse effects with air
contamination. the children living in these colonies especially
the aged people are the foremost victims by the smoke
released through burning the trash waste.
therefore, the ideal way to handle this
problem of garbage is each member of society taking
responsibility in properly disposing the waste in bins. also,
measures must be taken by the appropriate local authorities
to ensure that garbage bins installed in various areas should
be properly disposed off when filled up, it should not be
allowed to overflow. to avoid additional problems due to
overfilling, the bins must be emptied regularly. the residents
of the people should take an active part to inform the local
trash collectors when their surrounding trash bins get filled
up.
