Smart Goals

When I started this class my muscular flexibility goal was just to improve my daily activities/workouts.
This goal was not very SMART because it was very basic and wasn’t well rounded. Some objectives that I
had to help me accomplish this goal were just to go work out and go swim 3 times a week. Which I
started off doing good at but then I realized that I needed to add to it. So, I added that I wanted to
improve my flexibility. I made a goal to do specific stretches to help increase that for 15 minutes before
working out for 3 weeks. To show improvement I would see if I could bend over and touch my toes
because I have had tight muscles and can hardly do that. So, after 3 weeks I tried again and I could touch
my toes! That was a huge sign that I was doing well and it has improved from there.
