Significance of ethics to oneself

Avanzado

Ethics serve as guidelines regarding human acts. Also, it can help for the betterment of a person
and the people around him. Ethics also guides us in knowing what is good and what is bad.

Brucal

Ethics serves as a guide to moral daily living and assists us in determining whether our actions
are justified. It refers to society's perception of the proper way to live our daily lives. It also
accomplishes this by establishing rules, principles, and values upon which we can base our
actions. And lastly, it inspires us to make the world a better place through the decisions we
make.

Mentoy

Ethics serves as a foundation to my personal decision making process as it guides me to choose

the best and rational decisions in various events in my life. These decisions preserve the
well-being of myself and other people who are important in my life since the ethical decisions
that I decide are conflict wise and promotes social harmony , which then improves my mental
well being and increases my social circle that could help me reach my goals.

Through ethics, my personal character improves as my virtues on my life don’t only focus on
reaching my personal ambition but it expands to something more fruitful as I want to reach my
goals while having a great significance and making a difference in my society. It helps me to be
more compassionate and empathetic person that is able to help others whenever needed. For
example, as much as I love technology and having a drive to build futuristic technologies, I still
wanted to help and reinvent my society by reducing the effects of global warming and help to
solve global hunger through developing different inventions in the future, hopefully someday.
Through this development, I become more optimistic and endearing person.

Finally, ethics helps me to become more open and see things differently since having and
developing ethical values in myself helps me to see the reality of our society as I’m able to see
and understand other peoples perspective in different situations which broaden my knowledge
about other people’s culture and norms expands my visions for the future.
