WRITTEN REPORT

"There is no such thing as a way out." When we toss anything away, it has to go somewhere. somewhere
- Annie Leonard." The core idea and focus of the speakers, all of whom are excellent researchers in their
fields, is sustainability through the renewal and reutilization of some materials that are considered waste
and transformed into something more meaningful.
Various studies were presented that showcase various innovative recycled materials that can match and
compete with the global trend and be used in solving various economic, environmental, and resource
management problems, thereby assisting the country in achieving its long-term goals.

This procedure is well recognized in the wastewater industry (Martinez-Huitle and Brillas, 2009;
Mohammed and colleagues, 2009). In reality, that has happened. effectively used for drinking water
treatment and wastewaters (Pop et al., 2017; Vik et al., 1984). produced through aquaculture (Lin and
Chen, 1997), industries (Ramirez, 1981), textile industry (Lin et al., 1985). tannery industry (Peng, 1996;
Pajootan et al., 2016), Restaurants (Chen et al., 2000), (Benhadji et al., 2011), Municipal sewage, landfill
leachate (Biwyk et al., Poet and Grasmick, 1980) and urban wastewater 1995). This method was used to
get rid of phenol (Awad). & Abuzaid, 2000) as well as surfactants (Ciorba et al., 2000). El-Naas et al.,
2009; El-Naas et al., 2000) and even the oil industry (El-Naas e It was utilized to reduce oil-water
emulsions by Hariz et al. (2013).Bensadok and colleagues (2008). Dr. Laemthong Chuemchom, the
second speaker, explained how biomasses work. can be reutilized in different materials to resolve
different environmental problems and reinvented to form new technologies. For example, sugar bagasse,
a common biowaste in Thailand, can be converted into innovative materials such as magnetic absorbents
that remove heavy metals from water, activated carbon monoliths that can be used in cleaning up textile
industry waste, specifically in dye absorption, and as catalyst support in the catalyctic degradation
process that can remove organic pollutants from through oxidation using radicals. Furthermore, some
technologies have been developed from an invasive plant in an aquatic ecosystem known as water
hyacinth, which was carbonized to form a supercapacitor.

The process lasted 2 hours, with samples taken from the reactor every 15 minutes and evaluated. Their
pH, conductivity, and COD levels were all measured. The pH was measured with a HANNA Digital Display
model SED pH meter at 12500 V, and the conductivity was measured with a HANNA.COD conductivity
meter. COD was determined using a thermo ECO reactor and a titration technique in accordance with
the NFT 90-101 standard. Reflux boiling in the presence of mercury sulfate(II), a test sample with a
known quantity strongly based on potassium dichromate and a silver catalyst acidified with sulfuric acid
for a period of time during which a portion of the dichromate was reduced oxidizable
