1. Cover letter is a document sent along with a curriculum vitae (CV) to provide about
our experiences or skills. It is necessary when we want to apply for job vacancies. It is
shows who we are, and it will help us to promote ourselves to the company (to tell our
qualification and quality) as a job applicant and desired job position.
Although it is almost the same (promoting ourselves and explain who we are),
between cover letter and CV had quite differences.
Curriculum Vitae (CV) is made more in detail; we can write it for more than 1 sheet.

2. Curriculum Vitae is a short file that gives us chance to show a prospective employer
anything (around our qualification or quality) that we have gotten. It explains our skills,
education, experiences. It is also telling the employer that you are the qualified person
for that job position. It is important to create a creative CV.

My name is Carolina Foster. Based on information that I have gotten in May, 19 th 2022 from
Jobstreet.com, I am writing to you to tell you my interest in the librarian position. As a recent
graduate with experience in Library, I believe that I am strong candidate for a position at Pelita
Harapan School.
During my study time at University of Indonesia, I was awarded the top prize in the student
librarian competition for my version of mobile application that ease student to access the books
they need by internet. I also had experience to be a-part-time librarian in SDN 3 Tangerang for a
month.
In addition to graduating with 3.85 GPA, I have strong conversational skills in the Bahasa
