FORMAL JOB INTERVIEW

A. Did you have any trouble finding the place?

B. The secretary gave me wonderful indications.

A. That’s good. Shall we start with the interview?

B.Yes, sure

A. First of all, let me explain you a little about the job and what we are looking for. As you
know, there is an open position for plant operator and we need to fill this position as soon as
possible. We would prefer somebody with a HNC in chemistry with some experience.

B. I read about the position on your website, and I think I am a good fit.

A.Can you explain me something about yourself?

B. Well, I

B. No, I worked at Messer as a plant operator for two years and now I am looking for a better
opportunity.

A. What are your strengths? Why should I hire you?

B.I believe my strongest trait is that I am very hard working and a fast learner. Also, I am good
at working under pressure.

A. Do you have any questions for me?

B. No, I think I have a pretty good understanding of the requirements. I hope to have the
opportunity to work with you.
