A: Hello, Good Morning!

A: Huh… Jakarta is so crowded lately. I’m apologizing for make you waiting. I catch by
traffic jam for one hour.

B: No Problem. Traffic jam is one of the most problems in Jakarta. I get up so early for this
interview so I can avoid that traffic jam.

A: Well, it’s good. OK… Mr. Ditha. My name is Mr. Akbari, Human resource manager.
You've applied for The Telecommunication Maintenance Response Engineers, right?

B: Yes Mr. Ade. When I saw it advertised I thought it would really suit me.

A: Tell Me About Your Self!

B: My Name is Akbari. 21 years old. I left State Polytechnic of Jakarta in Telecommunication

Engineering Program and I have even worked as BTS Engineer at Telecommunications
Company for one year. I have experience in the wireless industry especially in the tower
industry. I have good communication skill and ability to work in a team. I take pride in
working hard and enjoy challenges and demands.

A: So, Do you ever have a job before?

B: Yes. I have worked as BTS engineer at PT. Samsung Telecommunication Indonesia for one
year.

A: Why do you leave the old one?

B: My contract as Outsourcing labor in that company has been over. So I look for some new
job.

A: Can you tell me why you replied to our advertisement?

B: Well, I've work as BTS engineer and felt that this position would offer me an opportunity
to extend my skills in this area.

A: What do you know about this organization?

B: PT. Transdata Global Network is company that focus on IT and Telecommunications

business trading and system integrator. This company competency is giving end-to-end data,
fixed and wireless solutions, design and implementing cost effectiveness of network
solutions to improve productivity and profitability of customers. I have heard this company
also have good prospect in the future.
A: We have a lot of other applicants for this position. Why do you think that you deserve
to get the job?

B: Well, I've found out a lot about this type of work and my research suggests that I would
be quite capable of doing the work involved. I also think that I would be able to handle any
training course reasonably well.

A: Are you applying for other jobs?

B: No, I’m not.

A: What is your greatest strength?

B: I am hard worker and well organized person.

A: What is your greatest weakness?

B: Sometimes, I am over confidence.

A: How do you expect to earn?

B: I think that’s a tough question. Because I think it depend on the detail of the job. So, Can
you tell me the range for this position?

A: It’s about 2 million rupiah.

B: I think it’s enough for basic salary. Did I get some incentive?

A: Yes, there are some incentives for healthy, assurance, etc. Now, do you have any
questions you'd like to ask me about the position?

B: No thank you. I don't think so.

A: I think I have asked you everything I wanted to. Thank you for coming along to the

B: Good Morning Sir.

C: I’m Ade Chandra. I’m the Supervisor of Telecommunication Engineer Department. I

have got your interview result from Mr. Ade. Now, I have some other Interview for you.
It’s mostly about the job that you applied.

B: I shall be pleased to provide any further information you may need.

C: Ok, let’s start it. First, what experience do you have in this field?

B: I have worked as BTS engineer at PT. Samsung Telecommunication Indonesia for one year.
So I have experience in the wireless industry especially in the tower industry.

C: Why do you want this position?

B: Because I want new experience as Telecommunication Maintenance Response Engineers.

C: What motivates you to do your best on the job?

B: I think work is not just about money, I also want to more learn about this field.

C: Do your skills match this job?

B: Yes, I do.

C: Are you ready to work in shift?

B: Yes, I am.

C: Are you willing to work overtime?

B: Yes, I am.

C: Tell me about your ability to work under pressure!

B: Sometimes I like work in under pressure because I feel it as a new challenge for me.

C: Are you a team player?

B: Yes, I am.

C: What kind of person would you refuse to work with?

B: There is no person’s character that I don’t want to work with. I can work with everyone.

C: What do you know about telecommunication maintenance?

B: I have knowledge in maintenance and repair technique for telecommunication system

from my old job.

C: Oh ok, can you explain about your old job?

B: I was worked in PT. Samsung Telecommunication Indonesia as BTS engineer. There, I

check and configured BTS. Sometimes I also do some reparation on that system.

C: Oh I see. It will be good base skill for this position. Do you have any questions for me?

B: Yes. How soon will I be able to get confirmation?

C: We will process the result of all applicant, maybe I can tell you about two weeks.
