AIMIL DELA CERNA

Tell me something about yourself.

Ans.: Hi, Sir! My name is Aimil. As you can see on my resume’, I don’t have any call center experience,
but I already have work experience which somehow I can relate to working in BPO industry. Previously, I
worked for Global Impact as Utilities Personnel and working there in that position somehow taught me a
few things: the reality that I need to strive hard in life to provide for my needs, to never say ‘no’ to any
work that’s being assigned to me and to honor everybody. I believe these values are needed in order to
survive in the BPO industry. Having no experience in BPO industry is something I see as an advantage
because I am receptive to everything that will be taught to me. I love to learn new things and I always
give my full attention when I learn anything. I can work well under pressure. I actually love it when the
pressure is on because I can bring out the best in me.

How do you handle pressure?

Ans.: I see pressure in a different way. I don’t see it as a threat but I see it as an opportunity to be
productive and to be at my best.

Why BPO Company?

Ans.: I was a little bit hesitant at first to apply in BPO Company because I was doubtful of myself if I
would be able to meet the requirements. My churchmates encouraged me because some of them are
working in BPO industry so immediately I submitted my resignation letter and chose to apply here. I
choose BPO industry because of high compensation benefits. I love to work on graveyard too because
I’m a nocturnal person. Career growth opportunities are available for everybody too. And these are just
some of my reasons.

Why this company of all BPO companies here in Davao?

Ans.: I have a churchmate who referred me here. I also did a little research on the best companies here
in Davao and this company is one of them. With everything that my churchmate spoke about the
company, I love the culture and work environment of the company. People are easy to be with and the
management is not just after its own growth but also for the growth of its employees.

How long do you plan to stay in the company?

Ans.: If ever I get hired, I would stay here for not less than 4 years. If ever I get promoted within that
time, I’d probably stay for more years. But as of the moment, I don’t really have plans of transferring
from one company to another.

Do you plan to go back to school?

Ans. Honestly, Sir, yes but not for the meantime. My top priority is to provide for my own needs and to
support my family somehow.

Tell me something interesting about yourself.

Ans.: I love to play drums. I am actually a drummer in the worship team of our church.
Why should we hire you?

Ans.: I am so willing to impart anything I have to the growth of the company. And I will make it sure that
I’ll be an asset to your company.

What is your biggest weakness?

Ans: I am a person who tends to be hard on myself sometimes especially at times when I don’t achieve
the goals I set for myself, but when that happens I remind myself that people commit mistakes and
nobody is perfect. I then see my failure as an opportunity to grow and be better.

How do you see yourself in 5 years:

Ans.: I can see myself happy and content with everything that I have. Probably achieving some of my
goals. I am also seeing myself growing and being promoted in the BPO industry.
