Project Proposal

The following partners in conducting this project are listed below; they are the one who will help the
group to make the project more possible.
● Sangguniang Kabataan
The Sangguniang Kabataan or SK officials are the best and suited to the group project
program as a partner because this project is focuses in team building of the youth where the SK are
also focuses in the teens. This may help the team to promote peace education more and expand the
group audience to reach other people within the barangay. In addition, proponents believe and want to
support that quotation that Jose Rizal stated “kabataan ang Pagasa ng bayan”

● Barangay officials
Work in partnership with the Barangay Council is essential for implementing different
projects in the community. Permission and assessment are still needed to see if the proposal is vital
and beneficial for the barangay since one of their functions is to implement or approve projects like
this one. Also, they are the one who will provide a data that the group can use in the conducting a
peace orientation to the youth. Furthermore, they may be able to assist us in the execution process via
assisting the team by lending them items that will most likely be valuable in the future constructing it,
and providing potential enhancements.

permiso upang gawin ang project, without them our project won't reach the target audience.

VIII. Beneficiaries
● Primary Beneficiaries:
o Youth aged 16-24 years old
They are the key beneficiaries of the project plan that led to the creation of this activity. Because
they are the project's responders, the participants will profit the most.

▪ It will develop more skills

Through an orientation and a fun exercise like team building, they will grow and
strengthen their critical thinking skills, writing abilities, and understanding of peace
education. For 40 young participants, our group will perform a fun and entertaining team
building project.

▪ Makes them engage more to the society

They will be encouraged them to engage with people and participate in activities that
will help them improve their abilities; the young will be less tied to technology. This will be
a way for them to be more active.

▪ Mental health benefits

Since the pandemic is still occurring, youth experience and suffer to anxiety and
depression due to having a lack of presence of other wherein they are unable to
communicate. Teen age is the most sensitive age of a human.

● Secondary Beneficiaries:
o Parents
Republic Of the Philippines
Batangas State University
National Service Training Program
JPLPC Malvar, Batangas

Project Proposal

They are the ones that teach their children to be more engaged and participatory in society rather
than focusing on video games or social media platforms. As a daughter or son, you can always expect
them to share some of what they learned during the project.
o Future Generations
Future generations will continue to promote peace education knowledge, skills, and attitudes in
order to save lives and free up scarce resources for societal needs. Peace education emphasizes
nonviolence and social justice as core ideals. Future generations are just the primary recipient’s
acquaintances or close beneficiaries
o Government
They will benefit more to this project by which, through this project, it will promote peace to
them and if the project became successful and continue. It will lessen and lowers the crime rate because
youth will be more educated on how peace works in the society.

IX. Rationale of the Project

Peace is defined as a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended. Peace is also a concept
where friendship and harmony are dominant in society. In peace education, it includes the approaches to
improve interpersonal perspective and be knowledgeable about peace where awareness, anger management,
empathy, cooperation, and kindness are being emphasized. On the other hand, it also includes education about
cultural, human rights, and social justice.
The group chooses a project that can increase the communication skills of each individual and improve
their knowledge about peace, which is a team-building program. These will help them to be more active in
society and can also reduce stress due to the pandemic or the COVID-19 spreading. Barangay Darasa, Tanauan
City is the location chosen by the group due to the increasing population as determined by the 2020 Census,
which was 23,987. This represented 12.37% of the total population of Tanauan according to PhilAtlas (2022).
The team-building activity will be conducted in the senior hall near the barangay hall of the Darasa. This
makes the program safer because officials are near to the chosen location and can easily respond if something

happens while the program is occurring. Youth in the ranges of 16-24 years old are the respondent of the
program because youth are the most sensitive and most crucial stage of the people. They can be easily
manipulated by the other so that this program gives them an awareness about what is right and wrong in
society. To sum up everything that has been stated so far, peace education is an approach and a solution for a
better and harmonic society where the youth are the primary beneficiaries of the project.
The group promises that through this initiative, they will be able to live the silence of young people in
terms of their participation and connection to society, rather than focus on other technologies. Youth must play
an active role in creating and maintaining an environment of peace, tolerance, cohabitation, and
non-extremism. Adolescents can act as community leaders in their local villages and participate in various
initiatives to educate rural inhabitants at the national level. Participants develop their critical thinking skills,
research and writing talents, and learn specific dispute resolution and social change approaches.

Aside from social, communication, and teamwork skills.
bawat kabataan kung saan sila mahina o kung saan sila magaling with our project we want to boost their
6. To enhance growth in their interests and abilities. - with our project gusto namin na aside sa interest nila sa
gadgets e makakita pa sila ng other interests aside from that gusto namin bigyan pa bg maraming options and

To track our group's weekly accomplishments, the group will use Google Sheets to record what we

the respondents, the facilitator will ensure that those invited are fully vaccinated and will adhere to safety
protocols. Distancing yourself physically and socially, covering coughs and sneezes, and washing your hands
are all part of it. In chosen area, wearing a facemask is recommended to reduce the danger of transmission.
And, in order to determine the respondents' learning in the team building, we will conduct an evaluation in
which we will create questions that we will answer to our respondents that will be seen below.

XVI. Plans to Ensure the Sustainability of the Project

At the end of the project that will be implemented, the youth of Brgy. Darasa is expected to be educated
about peace through the orientation and the team-building program. This will help them by being informed
about how the government encourages or promotes peace in the community. In conclusion, the project will be
another foundation for the community to be more aware of what is good and right things for the future
generation of youth.
If the project helps the community to help the youth to be informed and well educated about how peace
must work, the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan members can use this project to promote and be a guide
most especially to the future student that want to conduct this project proposal. Even though this project is not
as big enough to handle a large number of participants the group ensures that the primary beneficiaries will
spread their learning and experience that may encourage others to be more active in society. In conclusion,
these learning that they will get are lifelong and even the future students can use this program as a guide for
their project proposal.

By the end of our project as stated, we guaranteed that the participants will be aware of the peace
education. And if ever proven effevtive, pwede siyang gamitin ng Barangay with the help of the SK Officials in
conducting future events like this. Since hindi madami yung participants na sakop ng project, we would focus

on teaching them the essense of peace education, with this we can ensure them na magagamit nila ang
kanilang mga matututunan in their life and inspire them to live through it. At kung sakali na may mga
kabataan na gustong gamitin at palawigin pa ang proyektong ito maari nila gawing guide ito for their future
