DANCE COMPETITION PROPOSAL December 14, 2022

Purpose and background

1.The purpose of this report is to seek Council feedback on a proposed dancing


competition program for the City.

2.The proposed project, is inspired by outdoor dancing that takes place in many
Chinese cities and towns. Communities of older and younger Chinese people
gather to dance in civic squares and streets on a regular basis and for many of
these “dancers” this is an important social and physical activity.

3.The proposed project seeks to activate the city and encourage both community
engagement and physical activity. The Dance Competition is proposed as a free
and accessible activity, providing an opportunity for anyone in Bagumbayan
Taguig City to come, learn a dance with a skilled community dancing group and
then perform publically with musical backing. The proposal has the potential to
engage with both international students and newly arrived migrants.

Move Production is a full service that provide personal, social, and corporate
planning organization. Our company was established in 2016 and competently
handled over 89 Competitions in different cities. The company is owned by Ms.
Nobles, Armin who believes that anyone can dance. To give the excellent service
with spectacular, unique and glamorous competitions the company hires a
professional team for the successful outcome.

The creativity of our teams will be the result of our client’s desire. We follow
whatever the details they wanted with their particular event and we just add some
suggestions that might help to make it exceptional.

EVENT MANAGER
The event manger is a professional normally responsible to make sure that all
the events and shows go on smoothly. She handles everything of the event on
practical basis from scheduling to catering to decoration. All the people performing
this task are handled under the explicit supervision of the event manager. In short
she manages everything of an event not on paper but on practical basis.

EVENT COORDINATOR
Event coordinator is the top level management official in the event management
hierarchy. He is responsible for managing as well as coordinating all the crucial work
details that are required for an event’s proper smooth working with huge immense
success. He manages high level officials normally work on committed manner.

SECRETARY
The events secretary shall be responsible for specific duties. Compile and send and
events report to the company. She will coordinate hospitality to the working staff.
She will also process any entry applications and collection fees.

FINANCE HEAD
He is responsible for the budget allocation and prepares a realistic and appropriate
budget for the event. Also, to be up-to-date with the financial standing of Events
Beyond and take care all the financial management tasks of Events Beyond.

VENUE AND SPONSOR HEAD

He is responsible for looking in with the good venue that suits the client’s
preferences and satisfaction. Outsource and develop sponsors that will help the
company for the future relationship marketing to be used for.

PURCHASING HEAD

She is responsible for buying the best quality equipment, goods and services for
company at the most competitive prices. She oversees supply chain management.
She needs to identify potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers and maintaining
good relationships with them and forecasting the levels of demand for services and
the product to meet the event needs.
MOVE PRODUCTION
I. Mechanics
● For groups, they must complete their participants before filling up the
registration form.
● For solo, they also need to fill up the registration form.
● A maximum of thirty (30) participants each group.
● All ancers have their freedom to choose a specific dance to perform.
● Must be appropriate with their chosen dance.
● Each group will be given at least 5 minutes to perform their dance.
● Judges will be introduced on the same day of the competition.
● Performance will be held at Complex Bagumbayan Taguig City.
