1.0 INTRODUCTION

The activities of the English department of SK ST Augustine Betong will be carried out during
English Week. The main purpose of this activity is to encourage students to increase the use of
English.

2.0 OBJECTIVES

2.1 To improve the acquisition of English among the pupils.

2.2 To discover the pupils’ aptitude and achievement towards English
2.3 To develop and boost the pupils’ interest towards English

3.0 THEME

‘Love English, Enjoy English’

4.0 TARGET GROUP

All the pupils from year 1 to year 6 are involved.

All the school staff are also encouraged to be involved in some activities.

7.6 English Game - Forming Words From Letters (18 May 2023)

Respective English teacher conducts this competition in class. The longest word
‘supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ will be used to identify new words. Pupils will be given
15 minutes to complete this game. The top three participants will be chosen based on
the number of words formed with correct spelling.
