Task 1:

Task 2: Do you like Science? Why? (Write in sentences about 20-30 words)

Yes. I (AM) really interested in Science because science helps me understand

the world around me. For example, science gives me a better understanding of
the planets.

Task 3: You are in club chat room with 3 members of club. You will answer and
exchange some opinions with that 3 people. Write answer in sentences about 30
– 40 words.

Person A: Why do you decide to join in our Science Club? How often can you
go to the club?

I decided to join the club because my best friend was a member. Moreover,
when I was a child, I (WAS) really interested in science. I usually study on
weekdays, so I want to take part in club on weekend.

Person B: In the past, you leant about Science in school. Do you remember
something about Science?

I still remember some knowledge about Science, these are the basics. Firstly,
the Earth revolves around the Sun. Secondly, water boils at 100 degrees
Celsius. Finally, information about the Big Bang.

Person C: Who is your favorite inventor or scientist? Why?

My favorite scientist is Marie Curie. She is the first woman in the world to
receive a Nobel Award. She is a woman who is very hardworking and
passionate about her research work. I admire her very much.

Task 4: You have received an email from the Science Club about the club
exhibition next month.

“Dear all members in our club, our club is preparing to organize the science
exhibition next month. Both young people and elderly people can take part in
our activities in the exhibition. We are planning for our exhibition. Could you
contribute some ideas for our event team? Whether our club issues the ticket for
participants? I would like to hear your contribution.”

Hi Ha,
We have not shared with each other for a long time. How are things? I
hope you are still doing well. I am still fine. I have joined a Science Club
for 2 months. Last night, I got an email from the club about the science
exhibition next month. I was really happy when hearing that news. Can
you give me your opinion for our club exhibition next month? Write me
back soon!

manager of the club. (about 120-150 words)
Dear Ms. Jenny,
My name is Thu Thao. I have joined the club for 2 months. I am writing
this email to express my felling my suggestions about the science
exhibition next month.
According to the email that I have received from the club about the
science exhibition next month, both young people and elderly people can
take part in our activities in the exhibition. To be honest, I was so happy
when hearing that news. I am looking forward to participating in that
exhibition.
To prepare well for our coming exhibition, might I give you some ideas
for the event? In the exhibition show the video about the planets that last
week the club members discussed. I think it will make the exhibition more
interesting. Besides that, club members can decorate the exhibition
together, I am sure that visitor will take beautiful pictures here.
