Task 2: Do you like Science? Why? (Write in sentences about 20-30 words)

To be frank with you, I’m not exactly a big fan of science ‘cause it’s always
been a closed book to me. Though I know it helps me to acquire an in-depth
understanding of the world, I always find it perplexing.

Task 3: You are in club chat room with 3 members of club. You will answer and
exchange some opinions with that 3 people. Write answer in sentences about 30
– 40 words.

Person A: Why do you decide to join in our Science Club? How often can you
go to the club?

I want to meet and share with people who have the same hobby in science. I
have thought a lot when I wrote in the registration form because I cannot go
to the club often, maybe just on the weekend.

Person B: In the past, you leant about Science in school. Do you remember
something about Science?

When I was in Grade 6, my science teacher told us that seventy percent of our
body is water. I was surprised and wondered why the human body is so
magical. Since (that  THEN), I have been interested in Science.

brave.

exhibition next month.

“Dear all members in our club, our club is preparing to organize the science
exhibition next month. Both young people and elderly people can take part in
our activities in the exhibition. We are planning for our exhibition. Could you
contribute some ideas for our event team? Whether our club issues the ticket for
participants? I would like to hear your contribution.”

1. Write an email to friend. (about 50 words)

Dear Minh,

Do you remember the Science club that I told you about two weeks ago? I
have joined for about a week. Next month my club is going to hold an
exhibition. I’m so excited and much happier if you can participate with me. I can
drive you there too.

Text me as soon as you can.

2. Write an email to reply and express your feeling to Ms. Jenny –
manager of the club. (about 120-150 words)

Dear (Ms.Jenny,  SIR/MADAM,)

I am glad to become a new member of the Science group. I would like to
make some recommendations about the exhibition which will be held next
APTIS SV
month. I suggest that we could organize the event outdoors instead of indoors. It
is autumn now and the weather is nice and sunny but not too hot. We can hold it
in the Center Park to have more green space. I have come there about three
times and the parking area is enough for big events. I wonder if you could
consider having some food trucks outside the exhibition area. The event will
take all day to discover and fast food or snacks are needed to add energy. About
the ticket for participants you mentioned in the latest email, I recommend that
we could not issue tickets for participants . The main reason for this exhibition is
to bring Science to everyone. Freely open events will attract more people to take
part in.
Please let me know your opinion about my ideas. I look forward to
receiving your response at your earliest convenience.
Best regards,
Hien (EM KÍ ĐẦY ĐỦ HỌ TÊN + BỔ SUNG CHẤM CÂU NHA)
