9.

HANGAR BUILDING
9.1 The hangar should be able to accommodate three simultaneous parking of one
Boeing Business Jet (BBJ), one Gulfstream 650 (G650) and one Gulfstream 450
(G450) aircraft including Hangar Bays, maintenance and storage areas as well
as administration and reception areas.

9.2 Planning and design criteria should follow guidelines as provided by following
organizations:
a) International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
b) United States of America Department of Defense

9.3 Pavements for the hangar floor shall be designed to support the Boeing
Business Jet (BBJ) aircraft loadings which will be accommodated inside the
hangar. The hangar floor shall be coated with an appropriate coating system to
ensure it is easy to maintain and aesthetically pleasing. Each aircraft bay shall
be provided with aircraft grounding/earthing points. The resistivity of each
aircraft grounding/earthing point shall not be more than 4 ohms.

9.4 Sufficient clearance shall be given to ensure the required clearances between
aircraft wingtips, aircraft to walls/structures, hangar door openings and ceiling
clearances are provided.

9.5 The building works shall include but not limited to the supply and installation of
the following installations:
a) High and low voltage electrical supply and distribution system for general
lighting and power requirements, including essential power supply system
b) Earthing and lightning protection system
c) Telephone services
d) Signage to assist way finding in the buildings
e) Public address system
f) Electrical lift
g) Fire protection systems
h) Air conditioning and mechanical ventilation system
i) Internal plumbing and sanitary services
j) Compressed air system
k) Motorised hangar door
l) Furniture and fittings
m) Surveillance and card controlled access system
n) Local area network (LAN) cabling for computer system
o) Audio-visual system
