To All Caterpillar and Dealer employees:

installed on Caterpillar truck tires to gather real-time information enabling operators to
monitor tire data.

As it stands today, the remote monitoring capabilities are available through VIMS, utilizing the
machine display and electronic control module. The in-cab machine display provides alerts to
the operator when tire pressures and temperatures fall outside of prescribed limits.

The currently supported tire monitoring systems are:

• Bridgestone B-Tag,
• Bridgestone iTrack (NEW),
• Michelin MEMS (NEW)
